COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The focus of Acting Workshop IV will be to understand
and to manifest the 12 Guideposts described by Michael Shurtleff in his
book, AUDITION. The heart of the work will be identifying, cultivating,
and executing an effective struggle. Acting Workshop IV is for advanced
actors. Students are admitted by audition only. Auditions will take place
on 28 August 2004, in the Creative Arts Building, Room 21. Prerequisite:
ThA 330, plus an audition. Or, an excellent audition without ThA 330.
