Leptosiphon
Leptosiphon was described originally at the same time (1833) as Linanthus; however, convention placed all polemons with opposite, palmately-lobed leaves in the latter genus. Recent work shows that "Linanthus" sensu Greene is not monophyletic: Leptosiphon is a monophyletic lineage consisting of Grant's sections Leptosiphon, Dactylophyllum, Pacificus, and Siphonella.
