The March 1st deadline has passed but you may still register for and attend the HKT-25 workshop. The cost and availability of on-campus housing is no longer guaranteed, and late fees may apply, but please send your completed registration form to hkt25sf@gmail.com as soon as possible.
Registration, housing, and field trip payments can be made via a direct bank transfer (bank details below), by check sent to the address below (U.S. bank accounts only), or through the HKT-25 web site using a credit card or electronic bank transfer via PayPal (a 3-4% fee will be added to the nominal registration costs). Workshop and field trip registration, and housing costs are shown in the final circular. You must also submit a final registration form via e-mail to hkt25sf@gmail.com along with your payment (regardless if you pre-registered) by March 1st.

Instructions for paying by PayPal: Use this web site to use PayPal to use a credit card or to electronically transfer funds from a bank account. You will first need to sign up for a PayPal account (it's free). The below costs include fees charged by PayPal to process these transactions.
Select the workshop and field trip registration(s), and housing type(s) that you want. Choose "Add to Cart". This will open a new page in your browser showing your "Shopping Cart". In your open HKT payment and reservation page, simply add all the items you want, then change any relevant quantities in "Your Shopping Cart" page. Update your cart to show the correct final payments and click "Proceed to checkout".
Late registration fee - After March 10th
If requested to pay a late fee for registration/housing after 10 March 2010, please add this fee to your total order.
Workshop and guest registration - June 8-10, 2010
Workshop registration includes the icebreaker reception on the evening of Monday, June 7, a reception at the California Academy of Sciences on Tuesday, June 8, and a conference dinner on Wednesday, June 9; the workshop venue and abstract volume; and all coffee breaks and lunches during the meeting. Reduced registration is available for students, post-docs, and participants from AGU's Tier 1 and Tier 2 countries (Tier 1 countries include Nepal and Pakistan; Tier 2 countries include Bhutan, China, and India).

Once you have added your housing, you should change the quantity in your Shopping Cart to reflect the number of nights you are booking (e.g., 3 nights if arriving Monday, June 7 and departing Thursday, June 10; 4 nights if you will depart Friday, June 11); if bringing a guest, please double that quantity. Rooms in the Science & Technology Theme Community are limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Pre-workshop field trip registration - Saturday-Monday, June 5-7, 2010
** Note date change ** Field trip registration includes a field guide, vehicles, accommodation, and breakfasts (Sun./Mon.) and lunches (Sat./Sun./Mon.); dinners are separate and to be arranged individually by field trip participants.
The field trip will depart at 8am on Saturday, June 5, from the lobby of the Travelodge San Francisco Airport South. Participants who wish to stay at the Travelodge on Friday, June 4, should make reservations directly with the hotel. This hotel offers free transport from San Francisco International Airport and a complimentary continental breakfast.
You must also submit a final registration form along with your payment (regardless if you pre-registered) by March 1st.
