Wim Kimmerer, Research Professor, Romberg Tiburon Center


I am a researcher at the Romberg Tiburon Center, a research and teaching laboratory of San Francisco State University located on the shores of San Francisco Bay in Tiburon, Marin County, California.

My background is in chemistry and biological oceanography. Current research interests include zooplankton ecology, the ecology of estuaries with an emphasis on San Francisco Bay, and the use of models in aquatic ecology.

My laboratory assistants are Toni Ignoffo and Mary Helen Nicolini.

My current students are John Durand, Renny Talianchich, and Allegra Briggs.

Dr. Keun-Hyung Choi is a Research Associate in my laboratory
