Welcome to the Infant Cognition Laboratory!
The Infant Cognition Laboratory at San Francisco State University
studies language and cognitive
development in infants and toddlers. The study of
cognitive development is an important and neccessary field of psychology
because it allows us to better understand the nature of cognitive functioning
in human beings and how children's cognitive and language abilities
develop. Research in infant cognition
is not just reserved for the academic setting but is incorporated
in such applied fields as speech therapy, child psychology, and child
cognitive neuropsychology.
Are you interested in bringing your child
in to participate in our studies?
Are you interested in gaining valuable
research experience by working in the lab?
