for Analytic Journalism, The IAJ is a training and research team specializing in quantitative and non-traditional analytic methods applicable to the practice of high-quality journalism. The non-profit is especially interested in international venues. In recent months, its principals (Tom Johnson, Steve Ross and Steve Doig) have conducted training seminars and delivered scholarly papers in South Africa, Venezuela, Brazil, India, Spain, Mexico and the Balkans). The IAJ conducted a unique workshop in database verification, Ver 1.0, and a five-language survey of journalism faculty skills. |
