Spicer Lab Datasets
The following Nexus datasets have the alignments used in the original paper. These are provided since GenBank does not maintain the alignment in a reasonable format that is easily extractable from the NCBI database.
Spicer, G. S. and Dunipace, L.  2004.  Molecular phylogeny of songbirds (Passeriformes) inferred from mitochondrial 16S ribosomal RNA gene sequences. Molecular Phylogentics and Evolution 30:  325-335.
Saux, C., Fisher, B., and Spicer, G. S.  2004.  Dracula ant relationships as inferred by nuclear 28S rDNA sequences (Hymenoptera: Formicidae) and implications of ant systematics.  Molecular Phylogentics and Evolution 30:

Saux, C., Simon, C., and Spicer, G. S.  2003.  Phylogeny of the dragonfly and damselfly order Odonata as inferred by mitochondrial 12S ribosomal RNA sequences.  Annals of the Entomological Society of America 96:  693-699.
