I teach genetics for the Student Enrichment Office in the Biology Department at SFSU.

When not occupied teaching, I am working on a molecular phylogeny for the plant genus Phacelia (Hydrophyllaceae) using the chloroplast marker trnL and the nuclear ITS region. Phacelia contains approximately 80 species common in California and the Great Basin.
