Two Menehune ring-forming species of Collybia  are commonly encountered in
Coastal Casuarina Forests.  Both species were probably introduced along with
Casuarina  from Australia.  The species illustrated belongs in sect.Vestipedes  where it
is allied with taxa in the C. luxurians  Pk. complex.
