Richard L. Diamond is Executive Consultant with Management Agility Inc., focused on Corporate and IT Governance and Compliance emphasizing readiness for Sarbanes Oxley audits. In addition, Richard provides litigation consulting and expert witness services in legal cases involving Information Technology. Previously he was Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer of The Doctors Company, the leading physician-owned Medical Malpractice insurance company, headquartered in Napa, California. Prior to joining The Doctors Company in 2001, Richard held CIO positions with Encad Inc., Madge Networks, AST Computers, Applied Materials and Verbatim Corporation. He began his career with IBM World Trade Corporation as a Systems Engineer working with companies located in Southeast Asia. Consulting and managerial positions included expatriate assignments in Venezuela and Japan. Richard received his Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering from New York University in 1961 and his Masters of Business Administration (Finance) with Highest Honors from The University of Louisville in 1975. He has been a visiting lecturer at Santa Clara University, University of California - Irvine, the University of Southern California and the University of Singapore (NUS).
