GIS Exercises in Mapping Global Cities: GIS Methods in Urban Analysis

Mapping Global Cities: GIS Methods in Urban Analysis includes five hands-on exercises and a self-directed project that are designed to help students learn to do spatial analyses with vector and raster data using ArcGIS software.

Data files for the exercises are contained in a CD-ROM that comes with the book. The exercise data requires ArcGIS 9.0 or higher and the Spatial Analyst extension.
