Dear students,

The History Students Association, in its current incarnation, was created in 2005 in order to facilitate communication between history students and the faculty, enhance the history learning experience, further the goals of history students, and for social interaction and entertainment among history students.

In addition to regular meetings, HSA holds many events like movie nights throughout the year. All students with an interest in history not just history majors are encouraged to join us.

Members are welcome to become further involved by attending monthly meetings, running for office, or volunteering as an event coordinator. Our elections occur yearly and everyone officer or no has a voice in our organization.

Please feel free to email us at any time at hsa@mail.sfsu.edu and have a wonderful year.

Yours Sincerely,

Kacey Calahane
(HSA President)
