FIRST ANNUAL HUMAN RIGHTS SUMMIT
"A Continuum of Violence"
Held May 4 - 7, 2004. Students presented their final papers on three different panels which focused on the following topics: peacetime crimes in the Bay Area; sexual violence; discrimination; and indigenous peoples' rights.

SECOND ANNUAL HUMAN RIGHTS SUMMIT
Held May 3 - 6, 2005. The panel topics included the prison system in the United States; indigenous peoples and repatriation; women's rights; and gender violence.

THIRD ANNUAL HUMAN RIGHTS SUMMIT
"Roots of Our Future: The Human Rights of Children"
Held May 2-5, 2006. Students presented their research on the following themes: medical access and privacy; health disparities among youth communities; gender issues; standardization and medicalization of youth “experience;” current issues in activism and education. FOURTH ANNUAL HUMAN RIGHTS SUMMIT
"Power and Pleasure: Expressions and Repressions of Sexuality and Reproductive Rights"
Held April 30 - May 2, 2007. Activities included panels, performances, community outreach on the campus lawn, gallery exhibits, and a sex literacy workshop facilitated by members of SFSU's National Sexuality Resource Center. FIFTH ANNUAL HUMAN RIGHTS SUMMIT
"Privileged Destruction: Examining Environmental Justice"
Held April 30 - May 2, 2008. Students presented their research on the following themes: Environmental Justice in the SF Bay, Toxic Exposure in America, and Barriers to Health Care. Activities included panels, performances, and community outreach on the campus lawn. More information on the Fifth Summit.
SIXTH ANNUAL HUMAN RIGHTS SUMMIT
"Dying For Health: Ten CC's of Equity"
Held April 22-24, 2009. Focusing on health equity, students presented their final reaearch on the following themes: healthcare disparities; displaced poulations; the leagacy of racism; disability rights; holisic healing; and the drug trade. Activiteis included: Right To Know Google Mapmaking workshop, Eco-Human Rights Walk, Trash Mash Up Parade, Political Hip Hop Theater, and the 1st Human Rigth Film Festival.
