ESRI User Conference
The ESRI User Conference and ESRI Education GIS Conference are held once a year in San Diego, usually in July. These conferences are a valuable way to learn more about techniques and applications of GIS. The EdUC in 2016 will be June 25-28, at the Marriott Marquis and Marina in San Diego, California. The dates for the User Conference will be June 27 - July 1, at the San Diego Convention Center, San Diego, California.
Our site license entitles us to 47 tickets, or 235 days (yes, we may share tickets). ESRI has provided us with a lot of flexibility for registration so we can maximize the number of people who may attend. Board members should fill our the form below or send their list of names to the CSU GIS Specialty Center Adminstrator.
In addition to the complimentary passes, any CSU student who wants to attend for one day may do so at no charge. Registration for a single day is not done in advance, it is taken care of at the conference. To go for one day the student needs to present a valid ID from their university to the registration desk at the conference on the day they wish to attend.
Every year at the ESRI conference the Specialty Center hosts a lunch meeting to enable the CSU community to maintain professional contact with GIS professionals at other universities and research institutions. In 2016 this meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 28.
Plan to join us at the ESRU User Conference at the San Diego Convention Center.
