This is a web site for Larson’s former fish lab. Larson came to San Francisco State in 1980, and retired in 2006. Courses taught included General Zoology, Introductory Biology 2, Biological Oceanography, Animal Ecology (later just plain Ecology), Biology of Fishes, Fisheries Biology, Ecological Methods, and a number of seminar topics.
Larson and students mainly studied rockfish and kelp-forest fishes, but some students studied white sharks, salmonids, and other fish, and a few even studied seals or birds. |
