PROMOTING RESEARCH & EDUCATION

The California Estuarine Research Society (CAERS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the improvement of education and research regarding California 's estuarine and coastal environments. The society provides a forum to enhance communication among interested scientists, engineers, and students.
 

ESTUARINE RESEARCH FEDERATION
CAERS serves California and Baja California as the official affiliate of the Coastal and Estuarine Research Federation (CERF). The CERF is an international organization whose purpose is to:
  • promote research in estuarine and coastal waters
  • promote communication between members of affiliated societies
  • provide a source of advice in matters concerning estuaries and the coastal zone

 Randy Brown Memorial Student Fund
established in memory of our founding president

to support student travel and attendance at meetings of CAERS or CERF 
Donations may be included in meeting registration
